As your'e doing a show on the 70's & 80's.I must suggest that you spend some time and document the high school music scene.Chicago Vocational High School band,Orchestra and Chourus. the band was one of the best in the city-once appearing on "made in Chicago"-the jazz band was featured on WttW. Under the leadership of Dr.s Harold A. Bray & Joesph L. Miller-these groups were called the "Pride of Chicago's Southside. The chorus was directed by Kenneth Woods,jr.-This is something you need to look into.

I remember a show from the late 70's or early 80's that used to air on Saturdays, his name was Bill or William and he was an older German man. The show was called "Oil Painting with 'William _______' ". For the life of me I can't remember his last name and I'd love to find some of his paintings online and find out what he did in the last years of his life.
