At the Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, outdoorsy types and art aficionados can finally see eye to eye. That is, unless they're too busy looking at the sculptures spread over the center's 90 wooded acres.

Established in 1992, the Cedarhurst Sculpture Park has grown from a showcase of Midwestern sculptors into a prized venue for international work. With the woods serving as architecture, the sculpture park offers intimate viewing areas for its smaller pieces and wide clearings for modern monuments. The vast grounds also provide unique opportunities for installations that make use of the natural environment.

Host to sculptors like Alfio Bonanno – whose use of natural materials means his sculpture disintegrate and change over time – as well as to artists working in sturdier glass and steel, Cedarhurst offers a space that pleases art hounds and nature lovers alike.
