Singers Rule
These talented musicians will take on anything, except an instrument.
Chicago a cappella is an unusual group of four women and five men who share the joy and power of singing without instruments.
Accomplished soloists from diverse backgrounds, they sing an eclectic and engaging mix of music, from sacred Renaissance gems
to white and black spirituals, bluegrass, vocal jazz, pop tunes and custom arrangements. The ensemble presents premiere works
on a regular basis, has made several recordings and is frequently heard on 98.7WFMT and WBEZ.
And while some may think of a cappella music as stuffy or somber, the singers of Chicago a cappella aren't scared to show
their humor and irreverence, putting contemporary spins on ancient songs.
