The Second City: First Family of Comedy
See a nostalgic look back at the famous improvisational theater group which began in Chicago in the 1950s, spread to Toronto, became a TV show ("SCTV") and spawned some of the biggest names in comedy: Ed Asner, Mike Nichols and Elaine May, John Candy, Catherine O'Hara, John and Jim Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Tina Fey, Alan Arkin, Martin Short, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Mike Myers, and many others. This two-part retrospective features interviews with actors, directors, founders, and producers, and includes an abundance of archival material and many clips from the TV show.
