The WTTW Kids Great Food Fan Van educates parents, grandparents, caregivers, and children about proper nutrition and delivers that message in a fun, interactive, two-hour performance that comprises of stretching, dancing, singing, healthy food sampling, and one-on-one nutritional guidance and education.  Each performance is lead by the well-known talent of Miss Lori of Miss Lori’s CAMPUS and WTTW’s very own Mr. Brandon.

This summer, the WTTW Kids Great Food Fan Van program will appear at grocery venues including Whole Foods Market, Sunset Foods, Brookhaven Marketplace, and Tony’s Finer Foods.  Each event takes place within the "WTTW Kids Village" which comprises of a stage area, sampling canopies, and a learning tent.  The “village” is constructed at the entrance of each of our major grocery venues.

The WTTW Kids Great Food Fan Van program is a retail-based traveling nutrition event which serves approximately 10,000 parents and children each summer.  This year, WTTW will celebrate its 150th WTTW Kids Great Food Fan Van event, and this program continues to grow in popularity throughout Chicagoland.

The health and food partners who provide funding for the WTTW Kids Great Food Fan Van program this summer include Organic Valley Family of Farms, Traditional Medicinals Tea, Good Karma Flax Milk, and Signature Room at the 95th.
