WTTW’S Emmy-Winning Check, Please! is back for a 14th season with host Catherine De Orio

WTTW11, the Midwest’s premier public television station, announced that its most popular local series, the award-winning weekly restaurant review program CHECK, PLEASE!, will premiere its 14th season on Friday, October 17 at 8:00 pm, with Catherine De Orio in her sophomore season as host of the program.  The series will also be rebroadcast Saturdays at 4:30 pm and Sundays at 1:00 pm.

In this premiere episode, Catherine's guests are three Chicagoans: institutional advancement professional Erika Chavez, who recommends Gorditas Aguascalientes in Cicero; IT salesman Matt Davidman, whose choice is Andy's Thai Kitchen in Lincoln Park; and veterinarian Jane Lohmar, who loves Gather in the Lincoln Square neighborhood.

Upcoming episodes will feature eateries across the Chicagoland area, including establishments in Arlington Heights, Aurora, Worth, and Berwyn, and in the Chicago neighborhoods of Lakeview, Andersonville, Chinatown, Wicker Park, Lincoln Square, and many more.
