1964 – Graduates Cornell University

1965 – Graduates Yale

1970 – Chicago Seven

Beeby, following the lead of Stanley Tigerman and Stuart Cohen, formed the Chicago Seven.

1970- Hammond and Beeby & Associates

Beeby and Thomas Hammond formed their own Architectural Firm, Hammond and Beeby & Associates

1979 – UIC and IIT

Beeby was named the Director of the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Architecture and started teaching at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He was one of the first instructors hired at IIT who had not attended the school.

1985- Dean of Yale

20 years after Beeby attended the Yale School of Architecture, he became the Dean of the department where today he remains an adjunct professor.

1991 – College of Fellows

Beeby was elected into the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.

2013 – Beeby wins The Driehaus Prize
