You are invited to attend a very special preview and intimate discussion with David Pogue and NOVA Executive Producer Paula Apsell about their new NOVA special – Making Stuff II with David Pogue.

In this exciting four-part series, popular and charismatic New York Times technology reporter David Pogue takes us on a fun-filled tour of the material world we live in, and the one that may lie ahead. Get a behind-the-scenes look at scientific innovations ushering in a new generation of materials that are wilder, faster, colder, and safer than anything we’ve ever seen.

From robotic “mules” and “cheetahs” for the military in “Making Stuff Wilder” to electric muscle cars in “Making Stuff Faster”…from cooling a warming planet in “Making Stuff Colder to saving ourselves from traffic accidents and contact sports in “Making Stuff Safer”…this is an event and discussion you won’t want to miss. The discussion will be followed by a lively Q & A with Pogue and Apsell.

WTTW is proud to partner with the Chicago Public Library and NOVA on this very special event. Space is limited. Admission is FREE and is first-come, first-served. Once capacity is filled, admission to the event will be closed.

Making Stuff II with David Pogue premieres on WTTW11 on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm starting October 16.
