Cornerstones of Rock: American Garage is a nostalgic concert celebration of the local “garage bands” that rose to national prominence in the 1960s and ’70s, and remain as favorites today with their sing-along hits.

Jim Peterik of The Ides of March and WGN radio personality Wendy Snyder will host this historic reunion, as many original members of popular bands return to the concert stage to play their greatest hits, including The Ides of March, The Buckinghams, The Cryan’ Shames, The New Colony Six, The Shadows of Knight, The McCoys, and The American Breed. The concert will close with two special tributes including a performance of the Chicago anthem “Lake Shore Drive.”

Important: Please note that there are no physical tickets for this event. Your online confirmation will grant you entrance to the event, and we will have your name and number of ticket reservations on a door list at the WTTW Studios on the evening of the event. There are no refunds or ticket transfers. You must be at least 18 years of age to attend. Limited free parking is available at WTTW on a first-come, first-served basis.
