A Living Legend
David "Honeyboy" Edwards learned how to play guitar growing up in Mississippi, but since the 1950's this Delta bluesman has
called Chicago his sweet home.
One of the last living links to the original Delta Blues, 91-year-old
David "Honeyboy" Edwards is still on the road, bringing his inimitable style of blues to concert halls and jukejoints far and near.
After decades spent swapping songs with contemporaries like Howlin' Wolf, Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters, Edwards is still
churning out songs and has recorded more than a dozen albums of his own. As any fan of American music will tell you, Honeyboy
is "the real deal."
