Arts Across Illinois

WTTW invites you to feel the heat as we forge a friendship with the blacksmiths of Illinois. Join host Phil Ponce on Arts Across Illinois, made possible by the Illinois Arts Council, on Friday, October 19 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 21 at 5:30 pm.

MYTHIC METALSMITH Meet L. Brent Kington, the godfather of smiths. Trained as a silversmith and self-taught as a blacksmith, he founded the nation's only graduate program in blacksmithing at Southern Illinois University.
