The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp

Tucked away on 344 acres of land in Ashford, Connecticut is the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. With one simple premise in mind, Paul Newman founded the camp in 1988 based upon his belief that every child, no matter what their illness, should experience the “transformational spirit and friendships” of camp.

It took Beeby 18 months from concept to completion to bring the camp to life. The safe haven provides seriously ill children and their families a retreat, free of charge, that inspires friendship, fun, and “raising a little hell!” The camp offers horseback riding, miniature golf, boating, archery, theater arts, tennis, music, arts and crafts, adventure and high-ropes, and woodworking.
