Three great interviewees lent their voices to “10 Homes that Changed America” this week. We started in Philadelphia, where we talked with Marilyn Jordan Taylor, Dean of the School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania. Dean Taylor is an amazing communicator, and Penn’s Fisher Fine Arts Library made a striking backdrop for our discussion. Later in the week, we drove to New York, where we interviewed Vanity Fair’s Paul Goldberger at the New York Historical Society’s Klingenstein Library. Paul is one of our go-to experts on all things architecture, and as always, he was smart and insightful. Finally, we met up with Dwell Magazine’s Editor in Chief Amanda Dameron in her appropriately-stylish New York office. Amanda came at these historic homes from a distinctly modern perspective. Each of these three experts approached our subject from a completely different angle, which should help make this an exciting show!
