Travel Back in Time on this 1920s-Era ‘L’ Train
Geoffrey Baer interviews Graham Garfield, a CTA employee and walking encyclopedia for the history of the ‘L,’ while riding a 4000-series rail car along the Green Line. The car dates back to 1923, and was in operation for half a century. Garfield discusses what it would have been like to ride the trains back then, as well as the unique features of the rail car.
