Celebrate National Park Trust’s Kids to Parks Day with Nature Cat at the Indiana Dunes national lakeshore! Bring the whole family to this free event--see live turtles, snakes, and fish; play in the Nature Play Zone; learn from science activities; hike around the wetlands and dunes of the park; and create hands on crafts. This event will help the park celebrate the reopening of the Douglas Center, the park’s nature exploration site for families and schools.
