Marigold Media Group presents, COMING OUT: A 50 Year History, featuring high school and college students interviewing older LGBTQ people who "came out" in different historical eras from the 1950s until today. Their combined stories offer insights into the modern LGBTQ movement and how the process of “coming out” has changed from the McCarthy era through civil rights, post-Stonewall and during the age of AIDS. And despite the politics and social climate of the times, the process of coming out has been oddly the same for each generation. The film is narrated by transgender teen Jazz Jennings (star of TLC’s reality TV series I Am Jazz).
