You are invited to a very special event to go behind the scenes and preview the next three specials in the WTTW series 10 That Changed America – 10 Streets, Monuments, and Modern Marvels. During the evening, you’ll take you on a whirlwind tour of America’s treasures from New York’s Broadway to the Hoover Dam, from Mount Rushmore to the St. Louis Arch as documentary host Geoffrey Baer takes a summer road trip across America where he meets with historians, curators, and guides who share the fascinating backstories behind the iconic streets that connect our nation, the monuments that commemorate our history, and the engineering marvels that transformed our environment and shaped the way we live.

Join us with Geoffrey Baer, WTTW writer/producer Dan Protess, and featured architecture and design expert Reed Kroloff who will discuss the “making of” these specials, show selected excerpts, and answer your questions.

Tickets are $15, and WTTW and Chicago History members receive $5 off reservations. Seats for this exclusive event will go very quickly so reserve your spot right away.

Important Note: WTTW current members should use promo code “WTTWAMERICA” and Chicago History Museum current members should use the promo code “CHMMEMBER” when reserving seats on wttw.com. Please note that there are no physical tickets. Your online confirmation will grant you entrance to the event, and we will have your name and number of seat reservations on a door list on the evening of the event.
