All summer, readers have been voting for their favorites from a curated list of 100 popular books put together by PBS and spotlighted on the weekly series The Great American Read. As the big reveal of America’s favorite book nears, WTTW invites you to view a bit of the series and hear from three Chicago authors – rising novelist Julia Fine, the Newberry Library’s Director of Chicago Studies Liesl Olson, and book critic Donna Seaman – as they share their own favorite books and discuss the joy of reading. Join us for this free event!
