Join us for a screening of Whose Streets?, a film that tells the gripping story of a seminal civil rights event in the summer of 2014: the Ferguson, Missouri uprising. When unarmed teenager Michael Brown is killed by police and his body is left lying in the street for hours, it marks a breaking point for St. Louis County and its African American residents. This documentary, a tale told from the point of view of the activists and leaders central to the resistance, takes an unflinching look at a community driven over the edge, desperate to assert their right to live.
