WTTW and its FIRSTHAND: Gun Violence initiative, in partnership with Lyric Opera of Chicago's production of Blue, present a panel discussion: Roll Call: Policing in Chicago’s Black Community, Then and Now.

Join us as we discuss the evolving relationship between the Chicago Police Department and Chicago's Black community. Featuring Howard Saffold, retired CPD officer and founder of the Afro-American Patrolmen’s League, and Community Policing Sergeant Jermaine Harris, Chicago Police Department, Austin’s 15th District. This panel discussion is moderated by Chicago Tribune reporter Lolly Bowean.
