Presenting over 100 feature-length and short films from Latin America, Spain, Portugal and the United States. The Chicago Latino Film Festival is the most comprehensive showcase of Latino cinema in the country. Highlights of this year’s festival include the Chicago premiere of Mucho, mucho amor, a documentary about beloved Puerto Rican astrologer Walter Mercado, Narcos star Wagner Moura’s directorial debut, Marighella and The Weasels’ Tale, the new film by the director of The Secret in Their Eyes, Juan José Campanella.
