You are invited to Latino Voices: A WTTW News Community Conversation, a virtual event on Monday, December 20 at 8:00 pm.

Chicago’s Latino community is diverse, and that diversity is reflected in their devotion to culture, faith, and the elaborate ways in which they celebrate their holidays – both religious and secular. Throughout Chicago, the Latino community comes together to spend time with family, sing songs, prepare and eat delicious food, and even don costumes to reenact important tales of the holiday season. In this month’s Latino Voices: A WTTW News Community Conversation, we will look at Latino holiday traditions across the globe and the meaningful ways in which the Chicago’s Latino community celebrates.

Chicago Tonight on-air reporter Joanna Hernandez will moderate the discussion.

Support for CHICAGO TONIGHT: LATINO VOICES is provided by Allstate and The Chicago Community Trust. Additional support is provided by The Abe and Ida Cooper Foundation, The Field Foundation of Illinois, Lloyd A. Fry Foundation, and Judy and John McCarter.
