On Thursday, September 21 at 5:00 pm at the Chicago History Museum, WTTW will present an in-person preview of the fall 2023 season of CHICAGO STORIES, WTTW's documentary series uncovering the sweeping history, rich diversity, and breadth of human experience that shaped this great American city.
Over the course of eight weeks on Fridays at 8:00 pm beginning September 22 on WTTW, CHICAGO STORIES will premiere Angels Too Soon: The School Fire of ’58, The Race to Reverse the River, Pullman and the Railroad Rebellion, The Boss and the Bulldozer, Jane Addams: Together We Rise, Candy Capital, The Outrage of Danny Sotomayor, and The Rise and Fall of the Mail Order Giants.
During this special preview event, WTTW host, writer, and producer Geoffrey Baer will moderate a lively conversation that goes behind the scenes of the CHICAGO STORIES films with Stacy Robinson, producer of The Boss and the Bulldozer; Eddie Griffin, producer of The Race to Reverse the River and Candy Capital; and Dan Andries, producer of The Outrage of Danny Sotomayor.
A reduced parking rate of $10 is available at 1720 N. Stockton Drive. Please validate your parking ticket with the Chicago History Museum’s visitor services desk prior to departing the event. And arrive early at around 4:00 pm to browse some of the museum's pieces related to the topics featured in the upcoming season.
