The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting shutdown can be difficult for parents and scary for children. WTTW, PBS, and our partners are trying to help families out during this crisis: weekday afternoons on WTTW Prime now feature an educational line-up aimed at junior high and high school students whose schools are closed; PBS KIDS has games and activites to entertain and educate; Sesame Streethttps://interactive.wttw.com/playlist/2020/03/31/sesame-street-caring-for-each-other has resources to help parents and kids cope; America's Test Kitchen is offering a free "Kitchen Classroom" with curated activities every day.

PBS KIDS also has a series of fun videos to teach kids healthy habits, from numerous songs to help them wash their hands to an explanation of how germs spread, courtesy of Daniel Tiger, Sid the Science Kid, and more!
