'Sesame Street' and CNN to Address COVID-19 in a Special Town Hall

The ABC's of COVID-19 airs Saturday, April 25 at 8:00 am on CNN, CNN International, and CNN en Español, and will stream live on CNN.com and via the CNN app or CNNgo. Discover more resources from Sesame Street about the coronavirus. 

Sesame Street and CNN are teaming up on Saturday, April 25 for a special town hall addressing the coronavirus at 8:00 am. Hosted by CNN Chief Medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta and CNN anchor Erica Hill alongside Big Bird, The ABC's of COVID-19 serves as an extension of Sesame Workshop's Caring For Each Other intiative, which provides resources that are designed to help parents and children deal with the myriad difficulties caused by the coronavirus crisis as well foster learning at home. 

The 90-minute special will provide information and tools for families, and answer both kids' and parents' questions about the pandemic. In addition to Big Bird, it will also feature other furry friends like Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Rosita, and Grover, as well as Sesame Street's Alan Muraoka and Sesame Workshop's senior vice president for curriculum and content, Dr. Rosemarie Truglio.
