'Endeavour' Will Be Ending After Its Ninth Season

Just before the eighth season of Endeavour premieres on PBS and WTTW on Sunday, June 19 at 8:00 pm, it has been announced that the series' ninth season will be its last.
After the three episodes coming in June, one more three-episode season will air; it's filming now. By the end of the series, there will have been a total of 36 episodes, and the timeline will have reached into the 1970s.
