Grantchester

Bonnie is considering leaving Grantchester with Ernie, but she's still holding out hope that something will work out with Will first. That's if the vicar can survive a threat after a seemingly solved case resurfaces, to Geordie's deep guilt.

Cathy leads a strike for equal pay that leads to a confrontation between her and Geordie, while Will and Geordie investigate a death and disappearance at a local nursing home and Will tries to understand his desires.

Mrs. C finally reveals the cause of her anger and sadness, while Will and Geordie investigate members of Will's congregation after one dies, and Will learns how little he actually knows about any of them.

Will bonds with Bonnie's son Ernie while Mrs. C struggles with her diagnosis and faith. Meanwhile, Leonard and Geordie investigate the deaths of several homeless men in town.

Will can't shake his infatuation with Maya, even though he knows she's engaged, while Geordie can't make right with Cathy despite his wish to reunite his family. Another complicated relationship is teased apart after an odd death. 

The death of the scion of a formerly wealthy estate seems to be natural, but Geordie is suspicious. Unfortunately, his new boss assigns Larry to the case and is a stickler for rules, so Geordie, Will, and Miss Scott must surreptitiously investigate.

When Geordie involves himself in a case on his friend Johnny's request, he faces multiple crises: in his friendship, in his marriage, and in a confrontation with the past. Recap the season finale of Grantchester here.

When an inmate at Leonard's prison turns up dead and Leonard's cellmate is blamed, Leonard enlists Will and Geordie to investigate shady occurences at the prison. 

The bishop appoints a new curate to Grantchester, but no one is in the mood to welcome him, given that he's Leonard's replacement. A student protest gone wrong leads Will and Geordie to investigate, and into an argument. 

As Leonard goes to trial, a bank robbery serves as a distraction for Geordie and Will, the latter of whom wants to testify on behalf of Leonard but is warned against it because of the possible repercussions for himself. 

When some American servicemen are brought into the station for trespassing in a quarry, a murder investigation suddenly opens up, while Will tries to deal with his stepsister and Leonard and Daniel learn more about each other. 

Leonard's escalating tribulations place Will in a difficult moral position, while a council election precipitated by a sudden death turns nasty—and an investigation is opened into the death. 

Will ends up in the middle of a dispute over an adopted child that becomes more serious when someone turns up dead. Leonard finds himself in ever-worsening trouble after receiving some blackmail.

As Grantchester returns, Geordie's family and everyone from the vicarage seeks a break at a holiday resort, but an unexpected death draws Will and Geordie into an investigation, while Leonard stumbles into trouble via his kindness.
