Among WTTW's Native American Heritage Month programming is a new documentary of the Indigenous musician, artist, and activist Buffy Sainte-Marie, plus films that explore the varied experience, present, and past of Native Americans. 

Documentaries examine Russian critics of the war in Ukraine and the hostage crisis in Iran while favorite dramas and mysteries wrap up their seasons just in time for the holidays.

Fall brings a wide array of new and exciting programs, from an eagerly anticipated returning detective series to several scintillating new dramas to a nostalgic look back at an iconic how-to program to a whirlwind tour of European art history.

Fall means back to school, and while we may not be returning to lessons in a classroom, there's still plenty of fun things to learn—as in the cornucopia of new seasons of cooking shows premiering on WTTW over the next couple months.

This Women's History Month on WTTW, you can watch the stories of women fighting for change in male-dominated worlds in different realms, all in new documentaries, including one nominated for an Academy Award. 

A new British version of an intriguing Belgian mystery, a documentary featuring both performance and history focusing on Brazil featuring Gloria Estefan, and a show pitting modern families against life on a rural island in the early twentieth century.
