Professor T

The professor worries about suspicious behavior on Dan's part and wonders if he has been corrupted as an undercover operation heads towards a big end. 

Professor T's therapist invites his mother to a joint session with the professor. Meanwhile, he observes the trial of a case from before his consultancy with the police, confident that the accused murderer is innocent. 

Professor T is trying to act more positively towards the women in his life, on the suggestion of his therapist. He's also beginning to try to win Christina back, as he solves the murder of a baker. 

Professor T begins to work through his fears of the past and of intimacy with his therapist, while simultaneously helping solve a case in which all four members of a family are found dead by different means, with no sign of a struggle. 

Professor T is looking for an excuse to avoid giving oral exams, so he's eager to help Lisa and Dan investigate an apparent arson in a building full of students.

Lisa leads an investigation into threats on a wealthy but controversial businessman with an unusual family, while Professor T tries to avoid celebrating his birthday and the bad memories that come with it. 

A suspect has been apprehended in what appears to be a cut-and-dried murder case, but the daughter of the victim seems to know something more. Professor T tries to gain her confidence and learn the truth.

Professor T is characteristically blunt with the parents of a child who has been kidnapped, but quickly understands the complexity of the situation. 

While Professor T tries to avoid his mother, he ends up in the hospital as well as in the middle of a hostage situation, where he brings to bear some surprising rules that frustrate police officers as they attempt to save hostages. 

When someone is poisoned at a museum reception, the detectives again turn to Professor T for help in winnowing down the suspects, who include a woman who works at the university and has gossip swirling around her. 

While investigating a rape at her old college, Lisa Donckers decides to ask her former forensic criminology professor for help. Professor T is brilliant and knowledgeable, but also difficult to work with—and he has a history with Lisa's boss.
