Every Saturday the nature museum hosts hands-on learning exhibits. Each month a different topic is tackled with games, crafts, and fun for the whole family!  Join Nature Cat on Saturday, August 27^th for the drop in family fun session: It LakeSHORE is Hot Out!

Activities will concentrate why it can seem so hot and humid on Chicago’s lakefront. Experiments, demonstrations and a journaling activity will focus on humidity, heat island effects and effects of Lake Michigan on our climate in general. Nature Cat will be on hand for photos and to share in the learning fun!
