In honor of Native American Heritage Month, WTTW is partnering with the Chicago Public Library, Kelly Branch, to present a screening of the WTTW Kids series Molly of Denali, the first national children’s program to feature a Native American lead character. The series follows Alaska Native Molly Mabray, a feisty and resourceful 10-year-old Gwich’in/Koyukon/Dena’ina Athabascan girl, who sets off on adventures that help kids develop literacy skills along the way.

This screening will include viewing of several episodes from the series and some fun, hands-on activities for kids.

This is a free event. For more information, please visit chipublib.org/location/kelly-events/.
