WTTW News invites you to a virtual behind-the-scenes look at CHICAGO TONIGHT: LATINO VOICES and CHICAGO TONIGHT: BLACK VOICES, two additions to WTTW’s influential and independent news and public affairs programming. Teacher, strategist and non-profit executive Sylvia Ewing will moderate a live virtual conversation with LATINO VOICES host and News Director for WTTW News Hugo Balta and BLACK VOICES host and CHICAGO TONIGHT co-anchor Brandis Friedman. Hugo and Brandis will share plans for these new shows – including their focus on inclusivity, advancing conversations about equity, celebrating the rich culture of the Latino and Black community and how these communities are leading positive change in Chicago.

CHICAGO TONIGHT VOICES: A WTTW News Community Conversation will bring together viewers, and community and thought leaders, for a dynamic conversation around the issues affecting the lives of Black and Latino Chicagoans.

Lead support for CHICAGO TONIGHT: BLACK VOICES is provided by Fifth Third Bank. Additional support is provided by Gertrude Dyane & James H. Wooten, Jr., The Joseph & Bessie Feinberg Foundation, and Nicholas Antoine. Support for CHICAGO TONIGHT: LATINO VOICES is provided by CIBC.
