VOICES: A WTTW News Community Conversation
Join WTTW News and Chicago Tonight for VOICES: A WTTW News Community Conversation, a virtual event on Monday, March 25 at 12:00 pm.
This special VOICES Conversation is part of WTTW News and Chicago Tonight’s A Safer City initiative, which takes a deep dive into neighborhood crime, violence, and public safety as residents, policymakers, and community groups work to address this pervasive issue.
Chicago Tonight co-anchor Paris Schutz will moderate a live virtual conversation featuring Vaughn Bryant, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Peace Initiatives and Kanoya Ali, Director of Housing at Chicago CRED. The panel will discuss the impact of systemic violence on everyday life, and the steps that public safety officials, the police, and residents are taking to tackle the problem.
Support for CHICAGO TONIGHT: A SAFER CITY is provided, in part, by the Sue Ling Gin Charitable Foundation Initiative for Reducing Violence in Chicago.
