Sanditon

Weddings and departures are imminent in the series finale of Sanditon, although it remains to be seen which will actually occur as everyone tries to sort out their feelings and opportunities.

Edward and Augusta make a bold move while Charlotte and Alexander try to rectify things. Georgiana receives a surprise, and Tom receives a shock. Arthur struggles to reconcile to Harry's decision, all in the penultimate episode of Sanditon.

Romances are being stymied left and right, both by participants (Lady Denham, Beatrice, Charlotte, Lord Montrose) and outside forces such as Alexander Colbourne. A crisis is brewing. 

Georgiana faces opprobrium in a trial that could take away her fortune, as Samuel tries to defend her and an old flame resurfaces. Charlotte's feelings towards Alexander warm again, while Augusta has her own growing romance.

Alexander fetches his brother to Sanditon in the hopes that he can be of use, while Georgiana faces the prospect of having her inheritance taken from her. Arthur prepars the town for a royal visit, and Tom deals with a straight-talking investor and his plans for Sanditon. 

Charlotte returns to Sanditon for Georgiana's birthday party, this time with her fiancé Ralph. Alexander Colbourne still holds a flame for Charlotte, and his niece Augusta is scheming to force the couple together. 

The premiere date of season three of Sanditon has been announced, as well as that this season will wrap up all the stories and be the last of the Jane Austen adaptation. Meet a few of the new characters who will appear in the seaside resort town this season.

Tom finally takes charge and stands up to the miscreants of Sanditon, with the help of Arthur and Mary. Georgiana receives shocking news, Alison makes delightful news, and Charlotte navigates the culmination of a budding relationship. 

Charlotte struggles to understand her feelings as the truth about Alexander Colbourne as well as the army begins to emerge. Tom and Arthur try to right things in Sanditon, while Georgiana faces a life-changing decision and Edward further manipulates Lady Denham.

Charlotte reluctantly becomes the center of a bitter relationship between Colonel Lennox and Alexander Colbourne at Lady Denham's garden party, while her sister refuses to listen to advice and ends up hurt because of it. 

As Sanditon's Midsummer Fair approaches, Charlotte's charges and her employer begin to warm to her. Georgiana finds herself intrigued by Charles, Alison becomes ever more besotted, and Esther distrusts Clara's intentions. 

Alison has a chance at the romance she dreams of while Georgiana rejects any further suitors and Charlotte begins her work as a governess to two strong-headed young women. Esther fears Edward's intentions.

Sanditon is back! Charlotte has returned to the seaside town in the wake of a tragedy, this time with her sister in tow. An army regiment has arrived for the summer, while other new and exciting personages abound.
