WTTW NEWS ANNOUNCES FEBRUARY 7, 2023 CHICAGO MAYORAL FORUM

The candidates for the office of Chicago mayor will participate in a live forum moderated by Chicago Tonight co-anchor Paris Schutz

WTTW News today announced that the nine Chicago mayoral candidates in the February 28, 2023 municipal election will take part in a live forum on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at WTTW’s studios. Moderated by Chicago Tonight co-anchor Paris Schutz, the forum will stream live at 7:00 pm on wttw.com, the PBS/WTTW Video app, Facebook and YouTube, and will be broadcast on WTTW at 10:00 pm

This WTTW News Chicago Mayoral Forum will serve voters across Chicago’s diverse communities with trusted, essential information and context as Kam Buckner, Jesús “Chuy” García, Ja’Mal Green, Brandon Johnson, Sophia King, Lori Lightfoot, Roderick Sawyer, Paul Vallas, and Willie Wilson articulate their views and appeal to voters in the leadup to the election.

“This election will bring about significant change for the city of Chicago,” said Jay Smith, News Director and Executive Producer of Chicago Tonight. “The February 7 forum, along with WTTW’s Voter Guide and daily election coverage, will prepare voters to make informed decisions when they head to the polls.”
