Robert is becoming paranoid as attacks against his wife continue and he begins to turn on his own advisers, who are beginning to think about leaders who might succeed him. Things continue to go badly in Kent. 

Robert's team tries to understand and identify the threat to the U.K. while also worrying about inflammatory conspiracy theories that could lead to violence and unrest. Anna begins to worry about Robert's judgment. 

As a new crisis precipitated once again by a cyber attack leads to debate as to the government's response, Anna begins to disagree more and more with Robert, who is distracted by a possible scandal surrounding his wife.

Audrey struggles to survive with the help of an unlikely companion in the wake of the disaster off the coast of Kent, while Fraser and Joseph work to coordinate emergency response despite a cyber attack that has downed communications.
