Miss Scarlet and the Duke

As filming of season 5 of Miss Scarlet is underway, we get a first look at a new cast member who will replace William "the Duke" Wellington. 

A fifth season of the detective show is on its way, but it will lose one of its titular characters and thus be renamed simply Miss Scarlet.

Eliza sets to helping a friend – and saving her business – when Nash becomes wanted in connection with a murder. 

Eliza and Nash continue to clash in their approaches to running the business while they investigate an explosion at a newfangled telephone company.

William convalesces at Eliza's house as she tries to solve a robbery with Nash, lest their gangster client be unhappy with their work.

Eliza reflects on the first time she met William, when both of them were a teenager and she had just been expelled from school. 

Eliza investigates the death of an undertaker as the overworked police fail to get to the case as fast as Mr. Potts, a friend of the victim, would like. 

William is overworked as Scotland Yard expands its jurisdiction, while Eliza has no work. They eventually come together to investigate a robbery involving a high-end brothel.

We have a new preview and information about the upcoming fourth season of Miss Scarlet and the Duke, which premieres on WTTW on January 7.

Eliza, Moses, William, and Nash all team up after each receiving a bomb threat and then being removed from the investigation by higher-ups at the police, in the season finale of Miss Scarlet and the Duke.
