Morse is back on the job for a final season after spending time away dealing with his drinking problem. He returns to big changes in the lives of all of his closest colleagues, setting him up to be left behind and alone. 

Alex Ridley has retired from the police force in the wake of tragic loss, but he is drawn back to a case when a suspect in the disappearance of a young girl years ago is killed. 

The Marlow Murder Club by Robert Thorogood, the creator of Death in Paradise, is being adapted into a mystery for PBS with some actresses you might recognize.

The final, ninth season of Endeavour, which consists of three episodes, has an airdate. It will also be accompanied by a new mystery, and a special looking back on the show.

Max and Oskar uncover a nationalist sect that might be involved with Ida Rego's death and also begin to suspect that they might be set up as they uncover a hidden plot.

Max and Oskar witness the death of the star of a film at its premiere, and quickly begin investigating it as a murder. Soon, another actress, a fanatical admirer, and an American senator are all involved in the case.

Eliza is upset that William is seeing Arabella, but she needs his help as she tries to claim an inheritance for an unknown heir and thus receive a sizable fee that could change her business prospects.

Max enlists Clara to write a story to help with a case, turning also to his father and sister to play a role as he and Oskar set a trap for a burglar searching for hidden treasure who may also be a murderer.

With William out of town, Fitzroy turns to Eliza for help when he sees Phelps plant a stolen watch on someone. Eliza's investigation wraps her up in a gang war and internecine disagreements within a crime family. 

Max gets in trouble when he tries to help a disturbed veteran at a military hospital who believes he is cursed, and then apparently commits suicide. Oskar is investigating some odd burglaries, but agrees to help Max, too.

Eliza and her rival Patrick Nash have both traveled to France to try to catch a notorious conman. Problem is, they both think they have the right man. Which one is right?

Oskar and Max wrap up their investigation into a series of murders that fascinates Max and repulses Oskar, causing sordid secrets to emerge from a radical fashion house in the process.

When a series of robberies take place near a fine restaurant, Eliza is certain that the owner, an old school nemesis of hers, is involved. But William thinks Eliza's judgment is clouded by animosity from long ago.

A murder at a fashion house has Oskar repulsed and Max fascinated by the psychology of the killer. Clara is also interested in the world of Viennese fashion, while Max's sister and father could help provide clues, since they sell fabric.
