HAIL TO THE CHIEF

ALL THAT JAZZ – Billy Siegenfeld, artistic director of Chicago's Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, loves to dance and sing. Since 1990 he's fused the two in his innovative approach to dance, creating powerful bursts of rhythmic energy on the dance floor.

HAIL TO THE CHIEF – Maria Tallchief was George Balanchine's muse for 20 years and his wife for 6. Known as America's prima ballerina she served as artistic director of the Lyric Opera Ballet and founder of the Chicago City Ballet. Now 82, she's still on her toes, as artistic advisor to the Chicago Festival Ballet.
